Curling
There are levels of curling to suit all abilities. If you've never curled before, that's no problem. We'll teach you how. We hold a two evening clinic before the start of the year, where certified curling instructors will go over the game from A to Z.
For Seniors the day time leagues are a great way to enjoy the game. For younger curlers, Little Rockers (ages 6 - 12), Bantam (13 - 16), and Junior (17 - 20) a season of curling is a little as $75 for a season.
Peruse the league information on the website. The leagues cater to a variety of tastes. If it's a fun, low pressure friendly atmosphere that interests you, then the Friday social league is great place for singles or couples. At the other end of the scale, the Thursday night competive draw has many challenging teams.

Ice and Facilties
Our newly expanded facility has four sheets of curling ice, and our ice technicians work diligently to deliver some of the best curling ice you will find in the Ottawa valley. The clubhouse was also given a complete refit, and sports the extra ends bar.

Community
When you join the Russell curling club, you join the community. Club members volunteer to work a few hours at one of the many events that are held at the club. If you are new to the area, it's a great way to meet people. The club draws members from a wide area including Russell, Embrun, Casselman, Marionville. An entertainment committee is always planning fun events at the club. Be sure to check the events calendar for live music nights.
